Welcome to the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce.

Founded in 1896 as the Utica Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce continues to be the area’s regional Chamber representing the community for over 119 years.

In March 2012, the Greater Utica Chamber was awarded Accredited status by the U.S. Chamber, of which our Chamber was a founding member. This prestigious honor puts us among the top 3% of Chambers nationwide. Our mission is to serve our members, the business community in the Utica area, through benefit programs, networking opportunities and legislative advocacy. This prestigious honor of accreditation shows our dedication to promoting strong business practices and promoting pro-growth policies at federal, state and local levels. The U.S. Chamber’s Accreditation helps to facilitate our continuing excellence.

Construction Fencing To Be Placed Around New MVHS Medical Center Building Footprint

On Thursday, October 10, 2019, assembly began on the construction fence that will surround the site of the new Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) regional medical center in Downtown Utica. The fence will be placed around the location of the future medical center building and will run from State Street along Columbia Street to Broadway; along Broadway to Lafayette Street; down Lafayette Street back to State Street, and along State Street to Columbia Street.
