Local Musician Raises Money For Children's Miracle Network Hospitals At MVHS
On Friday, July 12, 2019, Tony Mandour, MD, an area musician, hosted an event titled, “Dynamic Duos & Tony’s Picks: A Musical Review.” Mandour performed to a sold-out crowd to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals at Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS). The event was held at the Kirkland Art Center in Clinton, New York. The event raised $2,200 for this special cause.
“We are so grateful to Dr. Mandour and his wife,Carol, for putting together this special event to benefit CMN Hospitals at MVHS,” said Andrea McDiarmaid, CMN coordinator at MVHS. “It’s passionate people like them that make a huge impact on our initiative.”
The Mandours have organized fundraisers for children’s health initiatives for more than 18 years.
“I was so happy to raise money for CMN Hospitals at MVHS,” said Dr. Mandour. “We love knowing that every dollar donated stays right here in our community, helping local kids. We greatly appreciate everyone who came out and supported this wonderful cause. A special thank you to the support we received from Mark Bolos and Big Apple Music for donating the sound system for the event.”
