As a member of our Chamber, you'll notice that opportunities open up for you that you didn't even know were possible. This is because our membership of businesses help and support each other whenever they can.

Within several months of starting my business, The DeClutter Coach, in 2010, I became a member of the Mohawk Valley Chamber of Commerce. Over the course of the last two and a half years we have been fortunate enough to grow the business to several divisions, add employees, create new products and services, and meet the most amazing people. Our local television show, Organization Motivation!, provides us with an opportunity to showcase area non profits and the great work they do in our community. It also gives us the opportunity to help other local businesses advertise their goods and services at an affordable price.
We owe a large part of our success to the MV Chamber of Commerce. The support, promotion, benefits and opportunities that the Chamber has provided us are immeasurable! We have had the benefit of being able to meet and partner with many other area businesses with their assistance to help stimulate our local economy.
Most recently, our companies partnered with The Chamber of Commerce to offer opportunities that would be mutually beneficial. The first is through a new program called The DeClutter Coach Seal of Approval Program. The program provides the community with a free on-line referral service for area businesses of all types. In addition, it provides an affordable way for area businesses to partner with us and promote their goods and services while providing the Chamber with the opportunity to seek and obtain new members.
Second, the Chamber has partnered with our corporate training and consulting company, DC Efficiency Consulting, in helping us promote a new corporate training program we are offering at The Yahnundasis Golf & Country Club. Chamber members were offered the benefit of an early registration discount for our initial workshop offering, and we’ll continue to offer discounts for Chamber members for future workshops as well. Our partnership with The Yahnundasis is a perfect example of chamber members doing business with other chamber members!
Recently, we were excited to be a first time sponsor of a Chamber event and look forward to partnering with them for other events in the future. We are happy to give back as a show of appreciation for all they have done for us.
The Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce team is a talented group of individuals who work tirelessly everyday to meet the needs of each member business- regardless of their size. When we opened our new office, they arranged a wonderful ribbon cutting ceremony to help us celebrate. When I had a party to celebrate the launch of my first book, even though it was the night of her wedding anniversary, Pam stopped by to show her support. You cannot put a price or value on the support the MV Chamber provides. I feel extremely fortunate to be a member and look forward to a long and successful partnership!
