Welcome to the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce.

Founded in 1896 as the Utica Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce continues to be the area’s regional Chamber representing the community for over 119 years.

In March 2012, the Greater Utica Chamber was awarded Accredited status by the U.S. Chamber, of which our Chamber was a founding member. This prestigious honor puts us among the top 3% of Chambers nationwide. Our mission is to serve our members, the business community in the Utica area, through benefit programs, networking opportunities and legislative advocacy. This prestigious honor of accreditation shows our dedication to promoting strong business practices and promoting pro-growth policies at federal, state and local levels. The U.S. Chamber’s Accreditation helps to facilitate our continuing excellence.

Bank Of America Announces Investment In New MVHS Regional Medical Center In Downtown Utica

Bank of America announced today that it is awarding a $250,000 grant to Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) to support the construction of a brand new, state-of-the-art medical center in downtown Utica, New York. This funding enables MVHS to replace its two aging hospital buildings with a new facility that will significantly improve patient care including updated emergency room facilities and re-designed inpatient units. The project is expected to break ground in late 2019 and will be completed by 2022. This development will significantly contribute to the revival of downtown Utica by bringing jobs and residents back to what was once an important economic hub in New York State.

Hospice & Palliative Care is hosting their Annual Summer Happy Hour at Aqua Vino Restaurant in Utica on Monday, August 26th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Honorary Chairperson, US Olympic Bronze Medalist Erin Hamlin invites the community to join her as she celebrates on the deck at Aqua Vino. The presentation will review various voluntary benefits and telemedicine which can consist of layers of other programs such as discount prescription cards and medical negotiation abilities as well as mental health and dermatology aspects to some programs.
