Founded in 1896 as the Utica Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce continues to be the area’s regional Chamber representing the community for over 119 years.

In March 2012, the Greater Utica Chamber was awarded Accredited status by the U.S. Chamber, of which our Chamber was a founding member. This prestigious honor puts us among the top 3% of Chambers nationwide. Our mission is to serve our members, the business community in the Utica area, through benefit programs, networking opportunities and legislative advocacy. Gregory Morra Appointed to United Way of New York State Board of Directors

UTICA, NY (May 15, 2015) – Earlier this week, the United Way of New York State Board of Directors elected new members, one of whom, is Gregory Morra, President of the United Way of the Valley & Greater Utica Area Board of Directors. United Way of New York State (UWNYS) is the state-wide non-profit organization that represents the collective interests of the local United Ways in New York State. UWNYS advocates for policies that help the most vulnerable citizens, helps to strengthen the capacity of local United Ways to be leaders in their communities, and operates the state-wide 2-1-1 human service information and referral system.

Griffo, Brindisi Secure Additional Funding for Child Advocacy Center

UTICA – The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center received nearly $110,500 in additional state funding this year to reinforce its efforts to protect children from sexual predators, State Senator Joseph Griffo and State Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi announced today.
